Well, hello! And welcome to Poems + Prompts. I’m so happy you’re here to do a little reading and writing. (Yes, banner says People + Bodies; alas: technical issues.)

This week, we will do something a little different.

First, you’re going to make a list of important dates in your life. Let’s say: the day your sister was born; that your parents got married or divorced; the day your first child was conceived or born; the day you left a city or a country. You can also do this for a child, partner or parent (date of marriage, birth, graduation, leaving home, etc.). Be precise: May 1988, February 2001, October 2014. Make a long, long list. Don’t discriminate, just see what comes up.
