This is the 2nd time this week I’ve heard someone mention Jo Ann Beard. I was lucky enough to have her as a writing teacher my last year of college, a year after the terrible thing happened on our campus. She blew me away then and it makes me so happy that she’s so well-regarded so many years later. She’s a treasure.
